There are three downsides...1) The battery life is terrible... less than 1/2 hour while watching a 3d bluray film on eco mode... 2) The nVidia drivers are old and we have to wait for toshiba to post new ones- you cant use the nvidia reference drivers. 3) The Corel Bluray software is crap... it is choppy and buggy... I added Cyberlink PowedDVD 11 Ultra and am much happier with the result. The performance running Batman Arkham Asylum and Portal 2 in stereo 3d is great for a laptop... the sound system is very good- not just for a laptop (though it can't touch my Klipsch Promedia 4.1 system). The keyboard is nice- not mushy... with full keypad! Backlit too... I have not yet tested the writing of Bluray disks, but the drives (optical, hybrid and traditional) seem...
